The site is located less than 50m away from the new Corso Italia transit station, set to be completed by 2022. From here residents will enjoy access to major destinations such as Carleton University, Bayview Transit Hub and the Ottawa International Airport.

The adjacent Trillium Multi-Use Pathway will help connect residents and visitors to the greater Capital Pathway network, a series of multi-use pathways covering over 200km throughout the National Capital Region. Originally built in 1924, the Standard Bread Building is a piece of Ottawa’s heritage that will be incorporated into the greater Gladstone & Loretta development. The old brick-clad concrete building will be adapted for use as a cultural hub with a variety of creative spaces for artists from around the community while preserving the heritage character of the nearly 100-year-old building.
